Grammar exercise for Sem 1 holiday

"What you put in your mouth and what you put into your head, no one can take away from you".

A Chinese saying. Think, or ask me about the meaning.

Assalamualaikum w.b.t.,

For my Form 2 classes (203 & 204) + Form 5 students,

I promised to give you an assignment during the holidays, but I was unable to do so, yet, as I haven't been able to figure out how to attach documents with my blog (Sorry!).

I'm open for suggestions or comments to settle this problem out. Anyway, at least you have one less assignment to do during your holidays. My assignments will be given during the start of the new semester.

For Form 5 students,

If you have time, when you go anywhere during your holiday, try to plot where you went and what you did in a simple plan (about 3-4 paragraphs), so that you can use it as a frame for your essays. You can use, reuse, and abuse them for your exams, you know.

For Form 2 students,

Grammar is a very important part of your essay. If you learn it early, there would be (at least) two benefits:
  • you will get a higher score during your semesters, and consequently your GPA (PNG) will be better.
  • you will have less grammatical errors to correct, meaning less work to do for English during your PMR year, which means you would have more time for your other subjects.

How to improve your grammar? See your teachers, always. They can, and will, help you. Everybody's grammatical problem is unique, so do something about it.

Well, that's it. Have fun during the holidays!
